Alvar is a sans-serif typeface created by Luciano Vergara and published by Los Andes. Designed to be clean and simple, Alvar is highly eligible and neutral, yet friendly. A clean and modern-looking font, it works especially well for mid-length text. Due to the modern characteristics and minimalist look of sans serifs, it reflects clarity and simplicity in the message it conveys. Alvar includes 3 subfamilies (Pro, Essential and Alt Essential) which provide a Latin Extended character set and plenty of OpenType features (stylistic alternates, small caps, case-sensitive forms, proportional and tabular figures and currency symbols). All these design features allow you to freely use it for commercial projects, corporate use, branding, logotype, magazines, printing and web.
