Why you should consider Saktere
Saktere, designed by Eric Kurniawan and published by Burntilldead, is a font family that stylishly blends formal serif structure with a dynamic hand-drawn style. Offered as a duo, it presents both a refined Regular serif and an expressive Handdrawn variant, perfectly balancing sophistication with creativity. Available on MyFonts for web and desktop use, the family supports diverse design needs with its two distinct styles.
Visual character
The Regular style exhibits a high-contrast serif with sharp terminals and elegant strokes that evoke a timeless, classical feel. In contrast, the Handdrawn style introduces expressive irregularities and natural rhythm, mimicking the spontaneity of calligraphic penmanship. Together, these styles create visual tension between formal geometry and organic flow, allowing designers to craft layered typographic compositions with both structure and personality.
