TAN Beaumont – Elegant Playful Display Serif

TAN Beaumont is an expressive serif by N J at TanType. It takes an old-style serif influence and gives it a playful display character, making it worth considering for distinctive names, titles and short pieces of brand lettering.

Visual character

The specimen combines slender strokes with generous curves and unusually shaped details. Those contrasts are strongest at larger sizes. Give the letters adequate space and check the finished word carefully when using the font in a compact logo.

Best use cases

• Boutique wordmarks and distinctive product labels.
• Magazine titles and editorial opening pages.
• Art, fashion and lifestyle packaging.

Font pairing ideas

Choose a restrained sans for smaller text, or a quiet text serif for longer editorial copy. Avoid another highly decorative face beside Beaumont, since its own letter shapes provide plenty of visual interest.

Font features and what is included

• TTF, OTF, WOFF and WOFF2 formats are listed.
• Multilingual support is included.
• Advanced character access depends on the OpenType support of the chosen application.
