TT Tsars

TT Tsar is a delicate italic typeface created by Marina Khodak, Inessa Mitrozor, Nadezhda Polomoshnova and published by TypeType. Named after the creator of printed holiday cards, TT Tsars brings the extraordinary story of art education to the fore. Art education gives you the opportunity and the freedom to explore and develop new ways of thinking and to acquire new creative skills. Publishing instructional books and creating a foundation to train art teachers, Louis Prang contributed significantly to the development of printing techniques. The element which served as a starting point for creating this typeface was a modern serif font. By means of a lowercase loop almost entirely connected it mingled modern and classic calligraphy elements and created an image of fluid writing. It incorporates an italic set of three weights, plenty of glyphs and various language support. All these tools combine to make it suitable for a wide range of purposes from wedding invitations, greeting cards, logos, business cards, magazines to packaging, book covers and more.
