VTF Berezin is a human-centered sans serif family designed for interfaces and functional communication. Designed by Lole Román and published by Variable Type Foundry.
Why VTF Berezin stands out
Direct shapes and an even rhythm keep labels easy to scan, while softer details prevent the family from feeling clinical. Drawn italics provide genuine emphasis rather than a mechanically slanted duplicate.
Best use cases
- Apps, dashboards, and product interfaces
- Brand systems and wayfinding
- Editorial layouts and campaigns
Font pairing ideas
Use contrasting widths or weights within the family to establish hierarchy. A restrained text serif can add warmth in longer editorial passages.
Font features
- Nine weights with matching true italics: eighteen static styles
- A variable design spanning weights 100–900
- Ligatures, fractions, case-sensitive and localized forms
- Proportional and tabular figures; extensive Latin support
